Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC seeks a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily and weekly activities, plan workloads and staffing in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise production, enforce policy, resolve conflicts, train staff, and drive process improvements while communicating with clients and vendors. This role reports to Operations Manager and supports budgeting and cross-department coordination.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience supervising and managing teams is preferred.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily and weekly activities, planning workloads and staffing accordingly.
  • Accountable for production, supervision and discipline of employees, and conflict resolution.
  • Train employees on job-specific duties and develop employees through coaching.
  • Monitor and evaluate employees based on goals and standards.
  • Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors and employees; respond to production problems.

Job description

  • Execution of the applicable KPI's per company standard to include "The Morning Routine" and operational aspects of "The Director's Playbook". Please refer to the Crane Worldwide Logistics Operational KPI Standards addendum.
  • Coordinates daily and weekly activities, planning workloads and staffing accordingly
  • Accountable for production, supervision and discipline of employees, and conflict resolution
  • Monitor and evaluate employees based on goals and standards
  • Enforce policy and procedure compliance
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company
  • Respond to & solve production problems
  • Train employees on job specific duties and develops employees through coaching
  • Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements
  • Effectively communicate with clients, vendors and employees
  • Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Four years industry experience required
  • Two years supervisory required

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
