What will you do?

Summary: Provide daily leadership, supervise employees, ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time performance. Collaborate with site management to execute production plans and initiatives, and continually improve operations.

Core Functions:
  • Enforce safety procedures, conduct safety reviews, and report incidents.
  • Develop team through training and coaching.
  • Lead daily team huddles and continuous improvement activities.
  • Monitor quality control, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct interviews, monitor performance, and set goals.
  • Understand and communicate financial impacts of operations.
  • Mentor high-potential team members and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Resolve conflicts, motivate the team, and provide performance feedback.
  • Track performance against KPIs and manage costs effectively.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
  • Train operational principles like 5-S, waste elimination, and scheduling.
  • Plan and balance overtime based on workload.
Key Measures of Success:
  • Customer orientation, attention to detail, and proficiency in basic math and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, delegate, and communicate effectively.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Two-year degree in a related field and at least two years of leadership experience, or equivalent.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Primarily around machinery with moving parts, requiring walking, handling, reaching, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, and occasional sitting or climbing. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and communicate verbally and electronically. Work environment can be loud and non-temperature-controlled. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
