General Summary
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the safe execution of daily operational plans and strategies, managing and leading resources, disseminating information to teammates, and ensuring compliance with key processes while achieving safety, quality, efficiency, and financial KPIs. This position oversees product safety, quality, legality, and integrity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise at least 2 full-time direct reports.
- Manage hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition, rewards, productivity, performance management, and disciplinary actions, including terminations.
- Oversee all daily, weekly, and monthly production activities within warehouse operations.
- Prepare and distribute reports necessary for daily operations.
- Ensure schedules are correctly implemented, jobs are assigned effectively, and tasks are completed properly.
- Schedule vacations and time off to meet customer needs with minimal disruption.
- Engage actively on the floor to lead and supervise teammates.
- Conduct daily operational start-up meetings to communicate work instructions, workflow activities, and safety practices.
- Promote teammate excellence through follow-up, feedback, coaching, and counseling.
- Maintain a safety-conscious work environment, including weekly safety meetings and participation in safety training and reviews.
- Ensure a clean and orderly work environment adhering to corporate standards.
- Supervise team operations to achieve objectives.
- Develop and maintain a productive team through cross-training, communication, and motivation.
- Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information effectively.
- Work effectively in a multi-tasking environment.
- Provide courteous customer service under high-pressure situations.
- Maintain inventory integrity and assist with physical inventories.
- Assist Operations Manager with special projects and facility security as needed.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or Military rank at E-6/E-7 or O-1/O-2; or a minimum of 6 months supervisory experience in warehouse/supply chain.
- Experience with labor management preferred.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with quality management methodologies.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage change.
- Ability to handle high-stress personnel situations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements
Ability to follow policies, read and interpret information, perform basic math, handle physical tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity required. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with full range of motion.

Pay Range: $58,656 - $97,402 annually.
