Alter Trading Corporation in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Manager of Operations Strategic Analysis to support the SVP Operations by analyzing operational and financial data, identifying opportunities, and driving improvements that boost production and profitability.

You will develop standardized measurement and reporting, lead cross-functional initiatives, support due diligence for acquisitions, and present data-driven insights to senior management with an eye toward long-term growth.

Qualifications

• MBA and/or 10 years’ management and operational experience in scrap industry preferred.
• Advanced skills using the latest Microsoft Office Products.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills with a wide range of individuals.
• Confidentiality and ability to work with senior levels in the organization.
• Travel up to 40% annually if required.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities by analyzing competitive solutions and market position.
• Impact revenue, margin, asset efficiency; drive budgets and business plans.
• Build knowledge of operations trends and key drivers affecting the business.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives spanning operations and shared services.
• Support due diligence and integration of acquisitions.
• Develop reporting to measure key operational metrics and target progress.
• Provide strategic direction for evolution of Operational Strategy & Analysis.
