Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Operations Staff for The Bank of Oklahoma Center in Tulsa. The role covers event setup, changeover, cleaning, and maintaining daily operations, with heavy lifting and occasional overnight hours.

You will work as part of a team to ensure schedules, safety, and tenant requirements are met during events. The position is hourly, pays $16.00 per hour, and is open to candidates with a high school diploma or GED and reliable work habits.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the conversion process for events.
• Set up and tear down flooring, chairs, walls, barricades, staging and tables.
• Transport trash and supplies; load/unload delivery trucks; restock as needed.
• Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting).
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks (painting, re-lamping, ceiling tile replacement).
• Assist building engineers and subcontractors in construction and maintenance.
• Report safety concerns or property loss to supervisor.
• Work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Position Summary

The Operations Staff perform the setup and changeover of the arena on an event-to-event basis in order to ensure complete adherence to the event schedule as well as tenant contractual specifications and requirements. Also, the role assists with cleaning of the arena to help maintain the cleanliness of the building. Under general supervision, performs work as needed to clean, maintain, and prepare for events at the facility. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Overnight hours can be expected on occasion.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00

About The Venue

The Bank of Oklahoma Center, also known as the BOK Center, is located downtown and serves as the premier sports and entertainment venue of the greater Tulsa region. Offering a 19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square feet designed to accommodate concerts, family shows, and other special events, it has been named on multiple occasions one of the country's best venues.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events.
• Duties may include setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, operable walls, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment.
• Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. These include, but are not limited to, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to the proper disposal area, and replenishing supplies.
• Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing, and waxing.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tile, replacing filters, etc.
• Assist building engineers and subcontractors in construction, repair, and maintenance of the building.
• Report irregularities, discrepancies, safety or damage concerns, or loss of property promptly to the supervisor.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
