The Information Governance Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing aspects of the Firm’s strategic plan relating to the effective management of client information. The Specialist assists with the coordination, tracking and recording tasks associated with retention policies, ethical wall (information barriers), legal holds and other related processes. The Specialist works closely with the Information Governance Analysts, Technical Support Services team, office records personnel and other members of the Firm Client Services group.
TheSpecialist requires some knowledge of common technology solutions for storinginformation in a database format (suchas Microsoft Excel, SmartSheet or others) and some exposure to informationmanagement or coursework in Computer Science in an educational or workenvironment. The Specialist primarily works within the Information Governancebut may interact with members of the practice groups, office staff and internalteams to gather and record process tracking information.

Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting salary range for this Chicago position is $75,000 to $85,000.
