Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to join their team in the St. Louis area.

The role involves provisioning, configuring, deploying, and supporting enterprise network and infrastructure equipment across diverse environments. Responsibilities include configuring devices via CLI and GUI, performing QA, coordinating software updates, and troubleshooting complex issues while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in network, infrastructure, or systems administration.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, OS, telecom technologies, and enterprise hardware.
• Experience provisioning, configuring, and supporting network equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting network/infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with system administration concepts and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with power and supporting infrastructure as part of maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and deployment records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support projects and initiatives.
• Ensure systems meet security, operational, and compliance requirements.

Network Operations Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, deploy, and support network and infrastructure equipment across enterprise environments.
• Configure and maintain network devices using both command-line and graphical management interfaces.
• Perform quality assurance and product testing to ensure equipment and solutions meet project requirements.
• Install software releases, perform system upgrades, and coordinate deployment of updates and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, infrastructure, and system administration issues.
• Support telecommunications, networking, and infrastructure environments while maintaining system availability and operational integrity.
• Provision, configure, and support routers, switches, servers, and related infrastructure equipment.
• Decommission network hardware and coordinate return and replacement processes for defective equipment.
• Work with power supply and supporting infrastructure equipment as part of implementation and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and deployment records.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to support infrastructure projects and operational initiatives.
• Ensure systems and infrastructure are maintained in accordance with security, operational, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting network, infrastructure, or systems administration environments.
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, telecommunications technologies, and enterprise hardware.
• Experience provisioning, configuring, and supporting network equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting network and infrastructure-related issues.
• Familiarity with system administration concepts and infrastructure support best practices.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Cisco networking equipment and enterprise network provisioning.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCENT, CCNA, or similar industry credentials.
• Experience performing network device configuration through command-line interfaces.
• Familiarity with scripting, automation, or infrastructure management tools.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure deployments and operational support activities.
• Knowledge of network quality assurance, testing methodologies, and deployment validation processes.
