I. Job Summary

The Operations Specialist I is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and strengthening customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service. This is achieved by managing inbound and/or outbound calls, identifying customer needs and providing solutions as well as assisting and conducting accurate banking transactions utilizing video technology.

II. Essential Functions

1. Assists customers with routine account-related questions; researches and resolves account service inquiries/issues; responds to customer inquiries promptly, accurately, and professionally.
2. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of bank products and services.
3. Accurately and effectively provides virtual teller assistance via video technology.
4. Assist and support internal banking staff requests and needs.

III. Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

IV. Education/Experience

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
2. Previous teller and customer service experience is preferred.
3. Management experience in call center is highly preferred.

V. Physical Requirements

1. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
2. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at any time.
