An established industry player is seeking an Operations Specialist to support senior living communities across the Pacific Northwest. This role involves extensive travel and requires leveraging executive director experience to enhance resident care and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will assist in various management functions, including staff training, budget oversight, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that operations align with strategic initiatives to foster a positive environment for both residents and staff. Assists directors of CCRCs, retirement communities, or assisted living residences with supervision and management on a temporary, extended, or as-needed basis. Responsibilities may include filling in during management vacancies, start-up phases, acquisitions, vacations, leaves of absence, or supporting a Regional Vice President with special projects.
Functions in multiple roles including supervising, quality assurance, training, regulatory compliance, and direct resident care as needed. Ensures operations align with value drivers and strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, staff satisfaction, occupancy, culture, and operational effectiveness.
Assists in recruiting and retaining qualified staff, fostering a positive team environment, and may participate in hiring processes. Supports marketing, outreach, resident admissions, assessments, and discharge procedures. May conduct or assist with staff performance reviews and identify training needs.
Helps resolve budget discrepancies, addresses resident or family concerns, maintains facility cleanliness and safety, and ensures OSHA compliance. Supports healthcare management in service plan reviews, supervises resident care documentation, and manages subordinate supervisors across various departments such as marketing, food service, housekeeping, and maintenance.
