Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead the Customer Service, Shipping and Scheduling teams. You will ensure alignment with company policies, drive on-time deliveries, maintain product quality, and promote a safe, collaborative work environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or at least five years in a managerial role within the corrugated box industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor staff and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of five years in a managerial position within the corrugated box industry.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities essential for coordinating multiple teams.
• Experience overseeing Customer Service, Shipping, and Scheduling groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all employees within the department, including Customer Service, Shipping, and Scheduling teams.
• Training, guiding, and mentoring employees.
• Planning, assigning, and directing tasks.
• Evaluating performance and providing feedback.
• Resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns.
• Completing disciplinary actions as needed.
• Fostering teamwork and building a positive work environment.
• Leading employees toward continuous improvement.
• Ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Communicating with the Sales Manager regarding scheduling/shipping issues.
• Managing workflow from order intake to shipping the finished product.
