Perdue Foods is hiring an Operations Safety Lead for the 2nd shift in Prince George, VA. You will lead safety programs across our operations, identify hazards, ensure OSHA-compliant practices, and foster a culture of safety to keep a high-performing workforce safe.

This role features a base pay of $22.07 per hour with shift differentials and overtime where applicable, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer in a comparable field.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to safety requirements including PPE and report unsafe acts and conditions.
• Overseeing Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety training sessions for employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
