Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Lead for the 1st shift in Prince George, VA. You will guide a team of hourly associates in inventory tasks, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficient daily operations.

Strong communication and leadership are essential in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and compliance. This role includes a base pay of $21.57 per hour with potential pay premiums, shift differentials, and overtime.

Formación

• Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the scheduling and work performance of hourly team members (staffing, attendance reporting, disciplinary actions through Superintendent/Plant Manager).
• Ensure completion of inventory tasks including daily push list, daily inventory process, cycle counts, and warehouse organization.
• Maintain SAP re-processor and handle inbound receipts and movements; conduct random pallet inspections.
• Develop and cross-train team members; attend regular meetings to discuss inventory issues; ensure tasks align with standards.
• Support other warehouse functions as needed; perform other duties assigned by management.
