Job summary

Florida Department of Health is seeking a Management Analyst to monitor the Child Care Food Program contractors within a defined Florida region, providing technical assistance and ensuring program compliance. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to travel across multiple counties.

Responsibilities include reviewing applications, preparing reports, and coordinating with program leadership to ensure timely, accurate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of professional related experience; Master's can substitute for one year of experience.
• Emergency Duty: may need to work outside normal hours and travel multi-county.
• Extensive local day travel in a multi-county area is required.
• Access to records containing sensitive information such as SSNs will occur in performance of duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review Child Care Food Program contractors' compliance within a defined Florida region; produce timely written reports and conduct follow-up monitoring.
• Provide technical assistance, training, guidance, and counseling to contractors on program requirements and procedures.
• Assist contractors with applications; review for accuracy and completeness and forward for approval.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
