Job summary

Peerless Technologies is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join our Enhanced Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team, supporting the Joint Warfare Analysis Center and other DoD and IC stakeholders. You’ll work alongside software engineers and data scientists to design experiments, apply OR techniques, and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations research or related data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in operations research, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute simulation experiments to minimize compute time and maximize insights.
• Apply Monte Carlo methods and operational research tools to real-world scenarios.
• Model systems using Python, R, VBA, or MATLAB (preferred).
• Define data requirements, analyze datasets, and make recommendations.
• Validate models and adapt them to evolving goals.
• Develop tools such as PERT networks to plan large projects.
• Create detailed reports and visualizations for leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and management across domains.
