Job summary

N2IA Technologies seeks an Operations Research System Analyst (ORSA) with Modeling & Simulation focus to advance federal vetting and counterintelligence operations. You will build queueing models, discrete-event simulations, and predictive analytics to identify bottlenecks and forecast workloads for proactive decision support.

Required expertise includes stochastic and statistical modeling, ML techniques, and hands-on programming in Python, R, or SAS, plus experience in secure government

Qualifications

• Experience applying queueing theory and discrete-event simulation to real-world operations.
• Strong statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and time-series analysis skills.
• Hands-on programming in Python, R, or SAS with ML libraries.
• Experience in DoD or Intelligence Community mission areas and secure government environments.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop queueing models and discrete-event simulations to identify bottlenecks in operational pipelines.
• Analyze and propose process improvements to reduce turnaround times while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate proposed changes or resource reallocations.
• Build simulation models accounting for stochastic variation and policy constraints to forecast outcomes.
• Validate model assumptions against historical data and document methodologies for reproducibility.
