Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join the Enhanced Modeling and Simulation team in Dahlgren, VA. You will tackle complex decision problems using mathematical modeling, statistics, and algorithm design to support DoD and IC stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include designing simulation experiments, applying Monte Carlo methods, and building models in Python, R, VBA or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations research, data analysis, or mathematical modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research or a related field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science).
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and execute simulation experiments to minimize compute time while maximizing actionable insights.
• Apply Monte Carlo methods and statistical techniques to real-world scenarios.
• Model systems using Python, R, VBA, or MATLAB to inform strategic decisions.
• Validate models and adapt as goals evolve.
• Develop and apply tools such as PERT networks for large projects.
• Create detailed reports and visualizations for leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and management across domains.
