Job summary

Altus Engineering seeks an Operations Research and Systems Analyst (ORSA) to support the JTCG/ME Program Office. You will apply quantitative analysis, modeling and simulation, and systems analysis to evaluate weapons effectiveness and support JMEM products and related tools.

Required qualifications include a BS in a STEM field, at least 5 years in OR/analysis, and an active SECRET clearance. Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, or R is expected, along with the ability to communicate results to

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field (e.g., operations research, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or physics).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operations research, systems analysis, modeling and simulation, or quantitative analysis.
• Active SECRET security clearance required.
• Experience applying mathematical or statistical methods to complex problems.
• Experience using analytical or programming tools such as Python, MATLAB, R, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical studies of munitions effectiveness, weapon-target interactions, and operational performance.
• Develop study plans, analytical methods, scenarios, data requirements, and measures of effectiveness.
• Apply statistical analysis and modeling and simulation to assess capabilities, compare alternatives, and identify performance trends.
• Prepare model inputs, analyze simulation outputs and test data, and assess assumptions, uncertainty, and limitations.
• Support verification and validation of analytical methods, models, data, and software results.
• Coordinate with Government personnel, technical experts, and software developers to translate analytical requirements into useful products.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
