Job summary

HukariAscendent is seeking 3 Operations Specialists to support DOE national laboratory facility operations. Ideal candidates will build strong relationships, coordinate readiness activities, assess field conditions, and translate operational needs into clear, actionable work products.

Responsibilities include walking down facilities, supporting assessments, coordinating with customers, and maintaining documentation that supports readiness and compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, or 4–8 years without a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
• Experience in operational, regulated, or compliance-driven environments.
• Coordinate activities and schedules across multiple stakeholders.
• Participate in facility walkdowns and field-based activities.
• Understand and apply organizational policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with facility, programmatic, and operations personnel.
• Coordinate project activities, schedules, deliverables, and action tracking.
• Participate in facility walkdowns to identify readiness needs.
• Support assessments and verify operational requirements are implemented.
• Serve as a central point of coordination for customers.
• Translate operational needs into practical plans, procedures, and docs.
• Apply best practices in readiness and process improvement.
• Ensure work products meet DOE and Laboratory requirements.
• Communicate activities and needs clearly under dynamic conditions.
