Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of ISO, Six Sigma and quality tools (FMEA, SPC).
• Strong communication, leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports generation of performance metrics for products and processes of relatively low complexity, and drives the team to achieve Quality Goals set by management (i.e.: DPQL, TQ@C).
• Leads Quality Improvement Programs (QIP) for small-scale, low-complexity needs to meet customer requirements.
• Mentors and trains personnel in Quality management and improvement practices.
• Resolves customer issues of low difficulty using quality tools: root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
• Provides leadership in audits, nonconforming material analysis, RMA coordination, and Quality management documentation.
• Supports new customer qualification and supplier assessments, First Article Inspections, and documentation for low-risk products.
• In-depth knowledge of quality metrics, ISO standards and Lean/Six Sigma processes.
• Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate resources to meet metrics.
• Excellent communication with internal/external customers and ability to lead a diverse team.
