Job summary

Arete Residential is seeking an Operations Specialist to join the leadership team. Reporting to the President/COO, you'll support in operational functions and portfolio projects across properties with about 25% travel.

You will help develop resources, implement marketing and leasing strategies, ensure property software is accurate and fully utilized, and provide outstanding service to residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years’ experience in student housing with supervisory role/higher management.
• Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a dynamic team with a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Entrepreneurial mindset—creative and willing to challenge the status quo.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and analytical skills; proficiency in MS Office and ResMan.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and distributing property operations resources.
• Implement the property’s strategic marketing plan.
• Assist leasing efforts and marketing strategy for campaigns.
• Ensure property management software is accurate and fully utilized.
• Support Regional VP and Regions to build a motivated team; maintain professional reporting.
• Provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents.
• Process leases and perform required administrative duties.
• Serve as an Arete Res Culture Ambassador.
• Assist with development of the company’s core strategic plan.
• Fill in for open positions as needed across properties.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
