Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing medium to large strategic initiatives for an operations department or Line of Business. Key responsibilities include coordinating execution across stakeholders and test groups, managing project scope, planning, and organizing, directing the execution of change and working closely with stakeholders on project impact, risks, issues and escalations to ensure we mitigate the risks related to change effectively. Job expectations include acting as the first point of contact for end-to-end project status, project health, risk mitigation, and timely escalation to leadership and stakeholders. Works on various project related activities supporting Specialized Servicing and Fulfillment Operations (SSFO). Manages the end-to-end change process on people, process and technology changes focused on service, support or product fulfillment. Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, and management/staff analysis. Responsible for significant contributions to the design and development of project deliverables. Responsible for timely completion of project deliverables. Resolves complex problems based primarily on knowledge of the business, as well as general project guidelines or procedures. Explains and interprets project procedures. Works across teams and team members on all phases of projects in a matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
• Determines change methods needed for assigned projects, educates resources, partners with all impacted teams involved, and provides reporting for the overall scope, schedule and costs throughout the change process • Partners with operations management on creating project impact and providing direction and guidance to internal teams • Coordinates development of key project deliverables in partnership with various key internal and external business partners • Manages and leads the execution of multiple and often competing priorities to meet deadlines and adhere with policies and procedures • Establishes project status routines and tracks critical path deadlines and overall business measures for success • Leads defect resolution and roadblock clearing efforts to enable successful completion of testing • Tracks success metrics and supports sustainability post project deployment including updates to procedures, readiness and knowledge transfer • Manages risk due to change and proactively escalates issues and drives solutions to reduce risk from change and ensure transparency of all stakeholders • Ensures compliance with all Enterprise Change Standards and corporate requirements, policies and proceduresRequired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the change framework for both AGILE and Waterfall project types; strong emphasis on AGILE methodology, JIRA • Efficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project) and SharePoint • Minimum 5 years experience supporting end to end change for medium to large projects, desirable to have experience in an Operations area • Demonstrate a strong technical and analytical mindset in to work effectively within a heavy technical driven environment • Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of business requirements to identify opportunities and develop solutions to improve systems or processes, with an intense focus on collaboration • Ability to influence decisions with various business partners to include Technology, Sales, and Operations • Must be able to work efficiently in a high pressure, fast changing environment. • Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented on business process concepts • Ability to effectively support multiple high priority activities concurrently • Ability to lead multiple projects end to end and to build consensus among different stakeholdersDesired Qualifications:
