The Hyperemesis Education and Research (HER) Foundation is seeking a dedicated Operations & Program Coordinator to be a pivotal force in supporting our mission to improve outcomes for those suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG).
At HER, we're a growing nonprofit deeply committed to advancing research, education, and advocacy. This dynamic role requires a blend of administrative proficiency, program coordination, and a keen eye for detail, all while contributing directly to a vital cause.
About the Role:
The Operations & Program Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our programs and administrative needs. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency, supporting our community, and helping us expand our reach. You'll have the chance to make a substantial and direct impact within a growing, mission-driven organization.
This is a part-time position (20-30 hours) with strong potential to become full-time and advance in your career based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Board & Committee Support:
• Facilitate member onboarding process and manage documents.
• Coordinate Board and committee meetings and assist with projects.
Program & Community Management:
• Schedule and provide tech support for support groups and volunteer meetings.
• Actively manage and monitor engagement within our live and online support groups.
• Provide general program support as needed to ensure successful execution.
• Update the HER Foundation website and resources as needed.
• Assist with creation of compelling content for newsletters and awareness campaigns.
• Respond to inquiries and support requests received via email.
• Provide admin support/outreach for conference exhibits, speaking, and events.
Data, Administration & Operations:
• Assist in tracking and compiling key performance indicators and program metrics for grants.
• Help document and standardize organizational processes in handbooks.
• Assist with donor management communication and donation tracking.
• Organize and maintain digital files and media assets.
• Coordinate the creation and sales of HER Foundation merchandise.
Who You Are:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or public health.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and project management tools (Trello).
• Technologically savvy, with experience in office (G Suite, Office), website content management (e.g., WordPress), and CRM systems.
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation.
• Self-motivated and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
• Empathetic and passionate about supporting individuals affected by Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
• Experience in a nonprofit setting and graphic design skills (Adobe, Canva) are highly desired.
