Job summary

Blue Zones Health seeks a Product Builder for Operations to translate operational pain points into practical tools and automations. You will prototype and ship internal tooling, collaborating with SMEs and data teams while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security.

You will sit with subject matter experts, understand end-to-end workflows across claims, health plan reporting, and authorizations, and partner with engineering to deliver practical, proactive solutions that reduce friction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in an operations, technical PM, or product-builder-type role.
• Genuine comfort with data—ability to reason about datasets across spreadsheets, scripts, or queries.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted dev tools.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA requirements and PHI security practices.
• Demonstrated ability to translate workflows into working tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous operational pain points into concrete specs and build or coordinate the right solution.
• Prototype and ship small internal tools, automations, and workflow fixes using AI-assisted development.
• Collaborate across claims, IPA operations, health plan reporting, and authorizations.
• Work with SharePoint, Notion, and internal platforms to keep docs, data, and workflows connected.
• Ensure builds maintain HIPAA and PHI security.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and push back when needed.
