MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • An Associate’s Degree from an accredited College or University with major coursework in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field AND Two (2) years of professional experience in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field; OR
  • A High School Diploma AND Four (4) years of professional experience in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize, manage, and supervise all aspects of non-Department of Defense training and services on Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. Represents the Florida Army National Guard and the Post Commander during these activities.
  • Liaison for coordinating all non-Department of Defense organizations utilizing Camp Blanding’s facilities. Develop and review training plans to accommodate each organization's training needs and confirm their compliance with military regulation and post policies (CBJTC 210-1). Approve/Disapprove base access for all non-DoD organizations requesting access to Camp Blanding for training or recreational purposes. Organize and de-conflict training requests using the Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS).
  • Market Camp Blanding to increase non-DoD operations. Develop strategic initiatives such as advertising via face-to-face, in writing, telephone, promotional videos, and presentations with outside agencies, groups and various organizations to solicit new business. Examine and analyze prices for competitive marketing strategies and participate in strategic planning for future operations.
  • Facility manager for five barracks (1,996 sq. ft. each), one latrine (1,862 sq. ft.), and one mess hall facility (6,693 sq. ft.) totaling 20,000 square feet.
  • Manage payments, invoices, and contracts for the billable utilization of Camp Blanding’s identifiable direct costs (IDC) for all non-DoD organizations. Develop initiatives to increase revenue that supports state salaries, RTLP, the billeting office, conference center, post exchange, and recreation.
  • Provide in-processing and safety briefs for each non-DoD organization coming on base.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. (Examples: P4 Community Initiatives, Serving on the Integrated Management Systems team for strategic planning and process improvement for the FLANG).
