Qualifications

• Education requirements as stated: degree and/or related work experience.
• Professionalism to work with engineers and management, and interface with customers.
• Self-motivated and able to multitask and balance competing priorities.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with PC software including Microsoft Office and SAP, GIS, CREWS, CLICK, PowerOn, CAD/AutoCAD; and database query tools.
• Knowledge of planning/scheduling best practices, processes, and tools.
• Familiarity with NESC, NEC, CGES; understanding of safety and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of electrical distribution systems and construction practices.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to commute to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and direct commitment to safety.
• Plan and schedule activities, manage work queue, staffing, materials, and tools for overhead/underground facilities.
• Set work commitment dates and adjust schedules due to resource changes.
• Dispatch daily to crews using CLICK; plan troubleman/serviceman schedules.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers on construction and maintenance activities.
• Determine job start and completion dates with relevant groups.
• Aid in pre-construction assessments for resource optimization.
• Ensure UG locates (OUPS, PA One Call, MISO tickets) are completed.
• Develop two-week and one-month work plans with contingency strategies.
• Provide management with reports and metrics; analyze variances and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with Consolidated Planning to align actual work with budgeted plans.
• Support documentation, communication, and training per processes.
• Discuss and plan work with operations to address needs, equipment, flaggers, and reviews.
• Plan accelerated/service work and assist during emergencies and travel as needed.
• Attend regulatory training and provide day-to-day support to supervision.
