FirstEnergy Corp in Fairlea, WV is seeking a Planner Scheduler/Readiness Coordinator to support short-range planning and scheduling of operations. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and coordination of crews, materials, and permits for overhead/underground work.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline, or 3+ years of experience; proficiency with SAP, GIS, CLICK, CREWS, and CAD tools is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline with 1–2 years related work experience; or 3 years without degree.
• Experience planning/scheduling and prioritizing work, plus construction and maintenance practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to interface with engineers, management, customers and the public.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and utility-specific software (SAP, GIS, CLICK, CREWS, PowerOn, CAD).

Responsabilidades

• Plan and schedule short-range operations and activities to maximize productivity.
• Assist in coordinating work, staffing, equipment, materials, tools, and permits.
• Establish two-week plans and one-month projections; update daily work plans.
• Dispatch work using CLICK; assign to crews and reflect crewing and vehicle assignments.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers on construction and maintenance inquiries.
• Ensure locates (OUPS/PA ONE CALL) and switching/hold-offs are completed.
• Provide technical reports and metrics to ensure compliance with FirstEnergy procedures.
• Assist during emergencies and travel to various locations as required.
