Job summary

Intersect is seeking a Technical Operations lead to manage a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar and battery storage assets across ERCOT. You’ll translate complex data into actionable insights to maximize asset availability, ensure market readiness, and support commercial performance.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Asset Management, Finance, EPCs, OEMs, and QSEs to optimize operations, develop scalable reporting, and drive continuous improvement throughout commissioning to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, power generation, or grid operations.
• Strong knowledge of ERCOT market operations, telemetry, ancillary services, and compliance.
• Experience with SCADA, EMS, historian platforms, and metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational performance platform, including configuration, data quality, KPI development, event validation, and dashboard administration.
• Build and improve reporting to show fleet performance, asset availability, and commercial performance.
• Validate meter data against settlement and market data for reporting accuracy.
• Deliver recurring operational reports for executives, stakeholders, and regulators.
