Job summary

Department of Children and Families, Office of Budget Services, seeks an Operations and Management Consultant Manager to oversee Budget Managers and drive the state budget process. You will monitor program office budgets, coordinate key deliverables such as the Legislative Budget Request and the Approved Operating Budget.

You will also provide consultation on budget development, financial health monitoring, and long-range planning to management and program offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of accounting and budgeting experience.
• Leadership experience or holding a bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of the state FLAIR system.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting.
• Knowledge of state accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
