Job summary

Belk is seeking an Operations Team Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries and ensuring new merchandise is ready for the floor.

The role also handles outbound merchandise activities, assists with facilities maintenance, and maintains back-of-house organization while collaborating with merchandising teams to place and sign products on the sales floor. This is an hourly position.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to customer service and meeting store objectives.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to store success.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Comfortable with technology and Windows-based devices.

Responsibilities

• Unloads cartons from truck deliveries and sorts by department.
• Performs sensor tag application, RFID tasks, and product transfers.
• Assists with facilities tasks including lighting and housekeeping.
• Supports floor sets, merchandising and promotions, and order picking/packing.
• Replenishes supplies and maintains clean, organized back-of-house areas.
• Assists customers and supports peak traffic periods to enhance experience.
