Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical.
• 0-3 years of chemical industry experience.
• Process optimization background.
• Experience troubleshooting in a plant environment.
• Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor unit performance weekly and monthly by tracking KPI's and KOP's; set targets for short interval controls (SIC's).
• Support site and area safety programs (PHA, LOPA, MOC) and assist in incident investigations and action items.
• Update and maintain unit process safety information; troubleshoot and optimize processes; work with reliability for RCA's.
• Deliver technical training to operators; own the Consequences of Deviation procedures; execute annual productivity plans.
• Develop and maintain productivity plans and pipelines for units; create dynamic entitlement models.
• Evaluate performance using the A2E (DMAIC) process; use entitlement models to drive improvements.
• Interface with process engineering and technology teams to initiate projects and implement new technology and advanced tracking tools.
