Job summary

Ascend Performance Materials is seeking an Operations Manufacturing Engineer to provide engineering support for safe, reliable unit operation and to optimize processes using advanced methods. The role emphasizes improving yields, raw material and energy usage, quality, and overall production performance.

The engineer will maintain performance tracking, identify gaps, and push for step-change technology improvements while supporting A2E projects and plant safety programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) is required or preferred.
• 0-3 years of chemical industry experience is expected.
• Process optimization background and trouble-shooting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive unit performance to improve yields, material usage, reliability and quality.
• Maintain a unit performance tracking program to meet annual productivity targets.
• Record and drive actions to correct production losses.
• Develop entitlement models to understand and improve unit performance.
• Assist in delivering productivity plans and interface with process engineering to implement improvements.
