Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Manager I to lead the day-to-day operations of a medium-sized warehouse in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. This role reports to the Operations leadership and requires strong communication, leadership, and process improvement skills.

You will schedule and delegate work for the operations team, manage materials flow, and oversee budgeting, policies, and vendor relations while maintaining safety standards and on-time inventory

Qualifications

• Five years in a Distribution/Logistics/Warehouse environment; at least three years of staff management (≈25 employees).
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations; CPR/First-Aid asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a medium-sized warehouse.
• Schedule and delegate work for operations team.
• Oversee long-range planning for Operations and manage manufacturing activities.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems.
• Coach employees on processes, safety, and teamwork.
• Control warehouse inventory, materials movement, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure on-time transportation service levels and cost controls.
