Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a senior operations manager to oversee all activities related to warehouse operations and development of company products. You will provide input to product strategy, establish production and QA standards, manage budgets, and coordinate with suppliers to optimize resources.

The role requires leadership of multiple departments and ensuring cost, quality, and timely delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of cold storage experience required.
• Experience working in production-based/fast-paced environment.
• Warehouse performance management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides input to the development of product strategy and R&D of new and emerging products.
• Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data on types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Guides development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinates manufacturing activities with other functions and suppliers to optimize production and utilization of resources.
• Reviews production and operating reports and directs resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize costs and delays.
• Performs administrative activities for effective management of shop operations, including data reporting.
• Determines responsibilities of assigned positions to meet business objectives.
• Trains and ensures employees comply with policies, procedures, and regulations.
