Job summary

Wayfair Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the distribution team and collaborate with Supervisors to resolve daily operational issues, improve productivity, and ensure on-time, accurate fulfillment.

You will drive service levels, support strategic initiatives that boost revenue and profitability, coach a team of Supervisors, and communicate with senior leaders in a fast-paced warehousing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience.
• 5+ years of operations management experience.
• Strong administrative, organizational, managerial and communication skills.
• Analytical ability to gather and interpret data, and develop solutions.
• Able to work collaboratively across functions and drive results.
• Senior presence with articulate communication style.

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Manager will collaborate with our Supervisor team to solve immediate day-to-day operational issues.
• Develop robust, trusting relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership, and identify opportunities to improve Warehousing productivity.
• Monitor and drive key service level metrics for fulfillment to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Support operational strategy and innovation to drive business goals for revenue, operations, and profitability.
• Manage, coach, develop team of Operations Supervisors.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and follow-through.
• Establish sound process improvement initiatives that drive year-over-year improvement.
