Job summary

WM is seeking candidates for the Operations Manager Trainee (OMT) program in California. The role focuses on hands‑on field leadership to boost profitability and efficiency while improving customer satisfaction. Relocation within the area is required after training.

The program trains you to lead teams of frontline staff, interact with drivers and technicians, and master safety and dispatch processes. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus relevant experience, is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of relevant work experience.
• 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements).
• Must be at least 18 years of age; legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-line operations management skills.
• Provide timely touchpoints with frontline employees.
• Collaborate with Drivers and Technicians to develop job‑related skills.
• Complete the OMT training curriculum and all other assigned training.
• Learn day‑to‑day business operations across multiple managers.
