Job summary

DH Pace Company, a family-owned leader in door, docking and security products, seeks a Manager Trainee for Overhead Door Company of Des Moines in Des Moines, IA. You will learn dispatching, scheduling, project management, and labor-cost control while supporting service and installation teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred with experience in staff management
Strong communication with customers and teams
Ability to manage schedules and budgets within service/installation operations

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the service and installation department
Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments
Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments cost-effectively
Ensure projects are completed timely and within budget
Review monthly financial/operational reports and develop improvement plans
Improve field team performance through regular reviews
Assist with hiring, training and developing new employees
Other duties as assigned by Manager

Education

Bachelor’s degree
