Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee for our Overhead Door Company of Des Moines in Des Moines, IA. You will lead day-to-day service and installation operations, schedule work, manage labor costs, and drive project execution while developing your leadership skills in a trusted, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; two years’ experience managing personnel or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the service and installation department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily commitments and ensure plan execution.
• Review workload and manpower to meet commitments cost-effectively.
• Ensure projects are completed timely, below budget, and to customer satisfaction.
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and develop action plans for improvement.
• Improve performance of field teams through regular reviews and coaching.
• Assist with hiring, training and developing new employees.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
