Job summary

Cogent Analytics seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing site in the St. Louis area. You will drive day-to-day operations, implement policies with the GM team, and optimize inventory, equipment utilization, and quality controls.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing budgets, and ensuring safety standards while delivering high-quality countertops, vanities, and shower bases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience with direct reports.
• Technical background in natural stone and quartz fabrication.
• Experience with blueprints, sketches, models, or project descriptions.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication production management and safety regulations.
• Fluent English and ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and drive efficiency and growth.
• Set and implement policies with the GM and management team.
• Develop and enforce product handling, inventory, and shipping systems.
• Maintain safe, healthy work environment and regulatory compliance.
• Train and cross-train staff; monitor metrics and labor utilization.
• Oversee quality inspections and resolve on-site issues with customers.
