Job summary

Allied Mineral Products is seeking an experienced Operations Manager, Shapes, for our Pell City, Alabama facility. This role oversees daily operations, drives efficiency, and ensures quality across the precast shapes manufacturing processes.

You will ensure safety compliance, manage production planning and capital investments, and lead employee development. Apply an engineering mindset with quantitative controls, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; Lean or Six-Sigma training a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing plant management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; knowledge of safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring timely production and quality of precast shapes.
• Lead safety, process improvements, and change management initiatives.
• Develop budgets, capital plans, and strategic initiatives to boost productivity.
• Monitor KPIs, costs, and ERP scheduling, inventory and shipping.
• Manage staff development and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and maintenance.
• Prepare reports on plant performance and improvement projects.
