• Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and ERP systems.

Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with technical expertise in manufacturing processes, an engineering background, and hands-on experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality, throughput, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of manufacturing facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production activities.
• Develop and execute operational plans to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets while supporting business objectives.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, streamline workflows, and improve process efficiency.
• Apply Six Sigma tools and methodologies to identify root causes, reduce variation, and drive measurable quality improvements.
• Manage, coach, and develop front-line supervisors and production teams to build a high-performance culture.
• Oversee capacity planning, scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation to optimize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and quality teams to launch new products, resolve production issues, and improve manufacturability.
• Establish and track KPIs, prepare operational reports, and present performance updates and improvement plans to senior leadership.
• Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and leading continuous safety improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets and cost-control initiatives, including capital project justification and operational expense optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive operations or manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing and proven success implementing continuous improvement programs.
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) or equivalent applied experience in process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data-driven methods to improve processes and performance.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop talent, and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of production planning, inventory management, ERP systems, and quality management systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
