Job Summary

The Manager of Operations, Release of Information, is responsible for ensuring all tasks are performed consistently, timely, and professionally. This role ensures alignment with objectives, values, and mission, and focuses on employee engagement, work quality, operational efficiency, planning, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The Manager will collaborate with the Director of Operations and other leaders to implement processes that deliver excellent member experience and market-leading performance. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Essential Job Functions

Organizational Leadership

• Set the tone and vision, leading with compassion, respect, accountability, and innovation
• Lead and participate in client meetings to ensure programs meet or exceed expectations
• Lead a team of release of information specialists to achieve goals efficiently and profitably
• Demonstrate strong leadership through delegation, decision-making, and staff development
• Coordinate with regional counterparts to standardize processes
• Establish performance measurement parameters

Employee Responsibilities

• Hire, retain, coach, and manage employee performance, maintaining core values and culture
• Ensure daily onsite coverage and backup arrangements
• Adhere to schedule standards
• Collaborate with domestic and global partners to maintain quality and turnaround standards, update SOPs, and conduct training
• Hold weekly 1-on-1 meetings with direct reports

Client Responsibilities

• Implement new client projects and manage customized solutions
• Participate in calls, respond promptly to client and internal communications, and review reports
• Prepare monthly presentations for leadership
• Update process instructions and conduct client-specific training
• Partner with solutions and IT teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Monitor daily tracking and address client concerns

Financial Management

• Assist with annual budgeting and fiscal planning
• Analyze and improve financial performance metrics
• Identify growth opportunities and cultivate client relationships

Customer Service Responsibilities

• Strengthen existing client relations
• Identify and develop new growth opportunities
• Coordinate with Client Success to ensure satisfaction

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Effective speaking and hearing abilities
• Good eye/hand coordination and visual acuity

HIPAA/Compliance

• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information
• Comply with regulatory and security requirements
• Report unethical or unlawful activities
• Maintain current HIPAA certification
