Job Description
SUMMARY
Support the execution of the Rating Career Domain Continuum (RCDC) Task Order under the Navy’s Learning Stack (LS) program, providing operational oversight for systems, release management, help desk support, and Tiered Service Delivery Model (TSDM) support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate RCDC system release activities across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Work closely with technical, programmatic, and cybersecurity teams to maintain reliable operations across all RCDC environments.
- Define and manage the Release Management Lifecycle including scheduling, coordination, version control, and validation procedures.
- Direct Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk staff, processes, and reporting mechanisms, ensuring alignment with customer SLAs and ITSM practices.
- Ensure release packages comply with configuration management (CM) and cybersecurity approval gates, and documentation is updated per contract requirements.
- Oversee daily operational health of systems; manage and escalate incident tickets, system alerts, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and DevSecOps teams to ensure patching, upgrades, and deployments are secure and traceable.
- Maintain accurate asset and license inventories in coordination with Government Property and CM staff.
- Prepare and submit operational and status updates in support of deliverables such as Monthly Status Report, Meeting Minutes, and Technical Reports.
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and working groups to represent operations and support concerns.
- Author and contribute to knowledge management and help desk documentation repositories (e.g., SharePoint), ensuring alignment with the contract deliverables.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Seven plus (7+) years of experience in IT operations, including at least two (2) years of release or service desk leadership.
- Working knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL), ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk), and asset/license management practices.
- Experience supporting secure DoD systems and understanding of RMF, STIG, and CSWF guidelines.
- Familiarity with release automation tools, CM systems, and enterprise monitoring platforms.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent CSWF certification.
- Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance (generally, this requires U.S. Citizenship).
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple technical and non-technical teams.
- Blend of IT operations expertise, software/system release coordination, customer support process oversight, and a deep understanding of secure, high-availability Navy environments.
- Experience supporting Navy programs and platforms.
- Familiarity with software deployment automation (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).
- Experience supporting CDRLs, QASP metrics, and contract deliverable tracking.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
The expected travel time is less than 25%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE
- Pay range: $90,000to $120,000per year.
