Job summary

Magna Electronics is seeking an Operations Manager in Michigan to oversee daily operations and drive continuous improvement across the organization. This role leads cross-functional teams, manages programs from quoting through production, and ensures quality, safety, productivity and customer satisfaction targets are met.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, with strong leadership, finance, and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in program management, manufacturing, business or related field plus 5+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
• Leadership skills to lead and manage operations toward long-term goals.
• Employee relationship and management skills to support and lead a successful operations team.
• Strong communication skills to work with internal and external contacts at all levels and to sell concepts.
• Project and program management skills and proven financial capabilities to maintain quality, cost, and timing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
• Lead multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives related to timing, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish and monitor top-level program plans, including milestones and resource requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for customers on assigned programs and communicate status and risks.
• Develop budgets and expenses to ensure conformity to plan and pursue cost savings.
• Support PPAP, customer audits, and warranty measures and manage safety initiatives.
