Job summary

AZZ Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager at its Rowlett facility to lead production and maintenance supervisors, driving productivity and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will develop strong team relations and promote a positive culture.

You will address quality issues at the source, coach staff, and ensure safe, compliant operations while meeting production goals. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in profit and loss responsibility, plant maintenance, and scheduling production.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 1-2 years of galvanizing experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Must be comfortable navigating through different software programs.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and maintains the daily manufacturing operations of the company through subordinate supervisors.
• Collaborates with the Plant Manager to establish short-term and long-term goals, objectives, plans, and policies for manufacturing.
• Reviews operating results and takes measures to correct any unsatisfactory results; develops tools for forecasting.
• Provides guidance to carry out major plans, standards, and procedures aligned with company goals.
• Ensures activities comply with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Manages facility schedules and staffing to meet demand.
• Coaches subordinates to optimize growth potential.
