Job summary

AZZ Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager at its Hamilton facility to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a team of supervisors and support staff. The role focuses on producing efficient outcomes, solving quality issues at source, and promoting a strong safety culture.

You will collaborate with Plant management to set goals, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to policies while maintaining strong relationships with employees and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in profit and loss responsibility, plant maintenance, and scheduling production preferred.
• 1-2 years of galvanizing experience preferred.
• Prior knowledge of Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and maintains the daily manufacturing operations of the company through subordinate supervisors.
• Collaborates with the Plant Manager to establish short-term and long-term goals, objectives, plans, and policies for manufacturing.
• Reviews operating results and takes corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Provides guidance to carry out plans and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Manages facility schedules and staffing to meet demand.
• Addresses project issues related to warranty, invoicing, and delivery.
• Coaches and mentors staff to optimize growth.
• Other duties as assigned.
