Job summary

SVN | Toomey Property Advisors in Mobile, AL is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the property management team and own day-to-day operations. You will hire, train, coach, and ensure accountability, collaborating with the CEO to turn strategy into consistent results.

You’ll drive multifamily leasing, renewals, and staff development, while enforcing SOPs and working with accounting on delinquency and owner reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing a leasing or property management team (residential or multifamily preferred).
• Proven track record improving occupancy, renewal rates or team retention.
• Experience hiring, training and terminating employees.
• Working knowledge of fair housing law and Alabama landlord-tenant law.
• Comfortable with property management software (AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi).

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing and renewals, ensuring high occupancy and timely turnovers.
• Hire, onboard and train operations staff; oversee training programs.
• Hold weekly one-on-ones and coach underperformers.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports for the CEO.
