Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking an Operations Manager to lead safety, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day site operations across multiple locations. You will drive KPI-based performance, develop teams, and ensure adherence to legal standards while upholding our safety-first culture.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, inventory, and assets; coordinating site setups; investigating incidents; and negotiating with vendors. Travel up to 75% is expected to support field locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of management experience with direct reports.
• Minimum of five years working experience and knowledge of regulatory compliance, regulatory audits, and working with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and regulatory compliance programs.
• Lead by example, upholding safety, customer focus, respect, and family values.
• Set goals and coach direct reports to KPI and budgets.
• Hire and develop talent; succession planning as a core process.
• Ensure compliance and audit locations, and observe sites.
• Know product properties and safety handling requirements.
• Oversee inventory and asset utilization with budget guidelines.
• Coordinate site setups, closures, and asset placements.
• Investigate incidents to determine root cause and report findings.
• Negotiate with vendors and monitor expenses.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures.
