DLP Services is one of the leading commercial cleaning companies in the United States. We are currently looking for an experienced Manager to join our team.

POSITION TITLE: Operations Manager
Location: San Antonio, TX
FLSA: Non-Exempt.
Classification: Full-time.

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations, budgeting, safety, compliance, personnel, and staffing needs for the assigned location(s). This position is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the locations assigned. Will utilize effective methods and strategies to carry out responsibilities.

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage Managers/Supervisors in assigned locations.
• Review expenses and payroll data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets.
• Plan effective individual contracts and strategies to maximize the financial well-being of the company.
• Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Coordinate and monitor the work of multiple locations. Ensure quality of services provided and that contract requirements are being fulfilled.
• Work effectively with the team and improve communications to better achieve customer and company goals.
• Plan and support all DLP sales and marketing activities.
• Assist in the strategic plans for operational activity as needed. Implement and manage all contracts assigned and operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• 50% travel minimum.

Education and Experience:

• College degree in business administration, commerce, management, industrial technology, or industrial engineering is preferred but not required. Directly related experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of Janitorial Operations experience managing multiple locations.
• Knowledge of working with multiple workgroups in a Union environment, Service Contract Act (SCA), and Private Sector employees.
• Ability to work with little to no direct supervision while overseeing multiple individual locations/contracts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to facilitate information flow and implement goal-setting initiatives.
