Job summary

Loomis is seeking an Operations Manager in Tampa to lead and oversee route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with DOT, OSHA, and EPA standards.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, managing maintenance, controlling costs, and maintaining strong customer service and security of cargo and facilities. Salary is commensurate with experience and bonus eligible up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of leadership experience is a plus.
• Logistics or transportation experience required.
• College education or military experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, testing, selecting, and training operations personnel.
• Overseeing route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations through managers/supervisors.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment are timely.
• Control operating costs and ensure safety of employees and assets.
• Maintain security of cargo and facilities and enforce policies.
• Investigate accidents and process required paperwork.
• Develop and maintain customer service capabilities among operations staff.
