Helena, a leading agricultural company in Nebraska, seeks an Operations Manager to identify improvements in business processes to boost productivity and reduce costs at the location.

You will establish procedures, supervise a five-to-ten person team, oversee inventory, freight cost allocation, and forecasting to ensure efficient operations and strong customer service for internal and external partners. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on continuous improvement across branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical school certificate required.
• Three years of operations, sales or branch management experience in the agricultural field required.
• Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Leadership experience supervising five to ten team members required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and improves practices to lower inventory shrinkage costs.
• Ensures fertilizer freight is captured at the correct cost center and trains the branch team.
• Serves as a resource to branch leadership and assists with improvement activities.
• Directs inventory management and forecasting to optimize stocking plans.
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
